Draft changes in the payment of ZUS contributions
According to the draft changes to social insurance adopted by the government, from 2018, each entrepreneur will have his or her own bank account at ZUS to which he or she will pay the due contributions. As a result,instead of making 3 or 4 transfers, the company will transfer the amount only once. Such a single payment will replace all existing contributions, which will reduce the number of transfers currently made from 62 million to 27 million per year.
Interestingly, the project proposes a change regarding certificates of no arrears in contributions.
It is proposed to legally equalize certificates issued by ZUS with electronic printouts generated from the PŁATNIK program.
